Crime Against Design
2014 Group Project
Interior Design
This is an design intervention on Sundial Restaurant in Elephant and Castle, London. This is a group project involving three people. The restaurant originally have their menu written all over their large windows. Their furniture has various colours and models that does not match, making it seem uncared for and unorganised.
Our plan was to simplify the colours and elements in the restaurant in order to change the perception of the place.
We limited the colours used to four colours. As this is a fast food store, we chose warm colours to create a welcoming atmosphere. We kept the trait of using their menu to attract customer with a blackboard. The windows can now be used to let people see what this restaurant actually offers.
